Everyone says Mia looks most like Tank.

Maybe it's the blue eyes and the cute round face!

My good friend Holly had

the house all decorated when we got home from the

hospital. She's the best!

Our little family is complete.

The kids so excited to finally see Mia. They had all made

her cards and pictures.

We LOVE Summer!

Tank saved up his money and had the idea to buy fish for

our neighbors pond. They were all so happy to each get 4 fish, and

I was just as happy to be putting them into the pond!

and Tank asked for Fireworks!

So, last week Tank was running into his room to

get something when he fell and hit his head on the

end of his bed. It was quite a hit, and we quickly

went over to the Metcalf's. Mike said it for sure needed

staples, and right there at his kitchen counter Tank was

brave and got 5 staples. He didn't even have a

numbing shot!

Tank of course so happy with all the fireworks. We even made a

special trip to Wyoming this year to get the supply.

Our summer vacation . . .

We had a blast!

Lu celebrated her 10th birthday. She got just what

she wanted - a razor scooter!

The boys loved to mess around with Max. Poor Max,

they hardly ever left him alone.

Best treat - nothing like the frozen chocolate

was fabulous)

Best decision we made was going to Legoland instead of

Disneyland. The kids LOVED it!

They all got their very own drivers license.

Tank celebrated his 5th birthday in California too.

He was shocked to see that we got

him a razor scooter too. Wow, was he

excited!

Tank spent his birthday playing arcade games along the

boardwalk and riding on a ferris wheel.

We went to the aquarium, mainly because Owen

loves sharks. He even got to pet some real sharks.

These four girls had a blast! I love that

they have each other!

Nana Katie and Mucka took Sophie and Betsy to

Mt. Rushmore on her baptism trip.

Woodstock Elementary got a hot air balloon at their

school for reading so much during the read - a - thon.

Frank was one of the dad's in charge of bringing it up and down.

The principal threw out candy to all the kids on the field.

Such a great day.

Nana Katie of course made Soph a baptism quilt. The hands

were a little something special to show how

they are both left handed.

The girls had their faces painted for the Fairy Fair.

As many of you know- Spence has quite a
Bakugan Collection!

Aunt Jane gave Spence a new bakugan case
for singing a solo in the Primary Program last week.
He was so brave, we were so
proud of him!

Our good friend Jonathon got baptized last week. We
were so excited for Jon and Holly and little Linc.
What a happy, cute family!

Frank and I took a weekend and went to Zions. It
was a real backpacking adventure. We went with 6
people who were practically expert backpackers and knew
Zions park like the back of their hand.
We slept in our tent in the
middle of nowhere and "roughed it" for a few days. We went
on a hike called Fat Man's Misery and for the first
time went through some amazing slot canyons.
It was so beautiful and we had such a
great time. Frank loved it, and I never
knew I would of enjoyed it that much.

been together. How times change- I love that we have so

Our good friends- Todd and Anna Larson, and their son Spencer

Frank did the Tour de Park City. Just 170 miles is all. He finished in
10 hours. We were so happy to see him at the finish line!

Tank started soccer this summer. He was a good little player and
was player of the week. This was his first coach from England-
Spence really liked the way he talked.

We were finishing up a little project and Owen got to help

Cowabunga Bay. Definitely made my kids scared to death of
water slides. I'll be honest, all the slides were a bit fast. Maybe we're
all just whimps.

Frank thought he would make some entertainment
for the party- a marshmallow shooter. It started
with marshmallows, and then they got real creative-
as you can imagine.

Hello, Hello from the Linthorst Family.
We have had such a fun past few months. I guess you can say time
flies when you're having fun. Enjoy a few pictures-
or should I say a lot of pictures!

Frank brought this go gart home to fix it up and the boys have lived in it
literally for the last two weeks. Finally it's all fixed and the kids
love taking it out for a little ride.

Sophie begged and begged to get her hair cut and
we finally took 7 inches off!

My great dad getting
the "Giant in the City" award. All night
people were saying how great it was that such
a "little" guy was getting such a "giant" award.

Katie, Maggie, Lizzie, Phoebe, and Lu

Lucy got "knighted" at school for
memorizing all her times tables. Her principal
was the "queen" who did the honors.

Jane went to Sweeden and brought back the girls
these cute bright outfits.

Dance Performance Time- The theme this year if you
can't tell- Rock Ballet.

Betsy, Sophie, Anna, and Lizzie- cute little dance friends!

Sophie hits the big jack pot- you would have thought she just
won 500 dollars- not just 500 tickets.

We went to Fat Catz with Liz and her cute boyfriend Nick, to
celebrate Liz graduating from the U of U. Way to go LIZ!

Yeah for Angelie and Richard. We are so happy for you both to finally be married.

We had a little brunch shower for Angelie at the Cadillac Cafe.

Sophie had her birthday party at This is the Place Park. I absoutley loved it and so did all the girls. They danced, did dress ups, dipped candles, went on a wagon rride, had scones and cupcakes. What a perfect way for a bunch of little girls to have a party.

Jane gave Sophie this cute skirt for her birthday-
and to make it more fun she gave one to all the girls so they could match!

Owen's favorite thing in life- Daddy's TRUCK. He can hear when it comes home and gets so excited. He begs and begs to stay in the back all night long.

Tank's favorite thing in life- FIREWORKS. It is a serious, serious addiction. We have already gone through our old stash from last 4th of July and he can't wait until the stands are open to buy more. To get by we look at pictures of different fireworks online and print them off just so we can look at them and talk about their names. Not the fireworks in the sky- but the actual firework itself. He has made posters and carries litte pictures folded up in his pocket everywhere he goes. I even had his preshool call me up to ask me if I knew he had an unlit
firecraker in his pocket.

Not much to say- Lucy's a goof.

April Fools- they thought this was so funny. Frank
and I wouldn't be able to get in to go to our bathroom. Thanks to
Lucy's school teacher who gave her the idea.

Snow Canyon in St. George- the best family hikes.

Frank and I went to Mexico for our 10 year anniversary. We had such a great time and the weather was perfect. We couldn't resist bringing home the boys these Choncho masks- like on Nacho Libre! Sadly, they still love wearing them.

We had fun shopping at little shops, eating Mexican food and going on an all day adventure with zip lines, tarzan swings, rock climbing and repelling. Frank was definitely in heaven.

WELCOME MILO !
We love our little puppy. He is now almost 2 months old. He is a cockapoo and really is the cuttest little fur ball. Do you think he get's any attention at our house?

To be honest Frank and I were just as excited as the kids were.
They had no idea we were getting them a dog. They were all in total shock.

I painted the girls a little table and chairs for their
American Girl Dolls.

My mom and dad gave us this little rocking chair. I had it when I was little. They had it refinished and put this little cushion on it. It was such a great gift.

Happy Holidays from Temple Square!
We have had so much fun this year getting ready for Christmas. We decided that it was time to take the kids to see the lights- we love that we are at a stage where we don't have to take a stroller! A few updates on the Linthorst family: Lucy had her tonsils out the week before Thanksgiving. I'm not sure what people are talking about when they say that taking your tonsils out isn't a bid deal? Sophie is loving first grade. She just finished her first real chapter book. Spence/Tank is still obsessed with fireworks and rocket ships. He can't wait for Santa to bring him a real rocket ship- not a toy one from the toy store. Owen is turning two on the 12th of Dec. and I think his age would show it. He had a tool party and still sleeps with a real screwdriver. Frank is working hard as always. These days I appreciate him more and all the work he has. We are so lucky, and I just love doing all the fun things Christmas brings. I miss the Linthorst family- especially over the holidays. We were lucky and had Grandma Mary here for Thanksgiving. We sure had fun with you. Christmas just isn't the same without all of you. We love you and wish you all the best.

Owen got a jack hammer from his friend Pyke. He thought he could even do it to the tree. Any tool that makes noise and vibrates is a real hit!

I gave O Mr.Potato head SANTA. He'll fit nicely in my Santa collection.

I do hope that someday he will appreciate all the work I go to- like cutting out
cardboard tools to decorate and making hammer sugar cookies.

I've never had a kid with a birthday so close to Christmas.
After today I don't think Santa even needs to bring Owen presents.

This year we had a Christmas Party with our neighborhood friends.
We had so much fun, great food, and a lot of laughs.
It's good to have good times
without the little squirts.

Emily won the "NUT" gift. Yeah!!! She was so excited.

The big hit was Fireworks on Thanksgiving night. Spence and Frank loved it!!

Fall in the Mountains! What a beautiful sight.
The other day we took the kids
on a little hike and the colors were amazing.
I have to say that when the leaves
change and we pull out the sweatshirts-
it really is my favorite time of year.
I just want to say Hi to our family and friends
all over the place. I hope

Owen was so proud when he came to show me that he had
colored with his favorite color marker . . . BLUE.

We love our friends- Holly, her husband Jonathon, and their little
boy Lincoln. Owen and Lincoln are good little buddies (most days!)
We had a spooky night at the Haunted Nursery near our house.

Our neighbors have a pretty exciting life. We often get
entertained by what goes on at their house. This night
they had a stretched hummer in the front yard. My kids thought it was
pretty cool. Loud music, neon lights, and lots of room to dance.

This is Spence's favorite thing lately. FIREWORKS. He carries this
thing around everywhere he goes. Sleeps with it, takes it in the car, he just
can't understand why he can't take it for show and tell.
(Don't worry, it's empty!)

I know this picture is hard to see, but this is the real reason we
went to the circus this year. Spence kept seeing the commercial on T.V.
with the guys on their motorcycles in the cage. It's all he could talk about!

Owen on the other hand really liked the elephants.

Spence and Owen could just eat cookie dough all day. I think they
love to make cookies as much as I do.

My cute nephew Rob and his girlfriend Grace. Rob is the
kid. He walks over from time to time just to hang out. The best
is when he makes us cookies.

We got all the little girls together and took their picture with
their American Girl dolls. They were all so excited to give it Nana Katie.

Tank loves baseball- or should I say he loves
anything he can hit.

Soph wanted to have lots of curls for the big Primary Program.

Spence wins a gold medal at Nursery. I had all the kids
do the Summer Olympics.

I'm not kidding when I say this is Owen's favorite place to be. I now
just leave the garage door open and he plays out in the garage for hours.

excited and nervous.

Little O man gets to stay home with Mom and his blankie-
while everyone else is at school.

a clown. She is a fabulous face painter. Lucy says that every
day she does something to make the class laugh.

is. This teacher is very organized and structured. Soph love's her.

We had a lot of fun at "The Ranch"
in Wyoming. Lu's favorite was riding the horses.

This is probably my favorite picture. My boys- and I mean
all 3 boys couldn't be happier.

Girly Girlz Camp- It was a hit this year- 16 neighborhood girls
getting together for lots of fun, crafts, and cooking. This day we
made homemade marshmallows, made miniature pizzas and painted wooden spoons.
